Vandals in spate of attacks on cars in Burnley
Burnley residents have been exchanging warnings and information about a series of car vandalism incidents, break-ins and thefts last week.
A local resident said she believed at least eight cars had their windows smashed and four vehicles had their tyres slashed in several incidents around Parkville St.
A resident with a CCTV camera said it had captured footage of a car backing the wrong way up Parkville St and looking at cars.
Police said they were investigating four overnight thefts from vehicles, in Burnley, Gibdon, Parkville and Cherrill streets between June 9 and 11, and urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
