
Heroin, cannabis seized in Richmond
Two men have been charged with drug trafficking following a police bust in Richmond on Thursday.
Detectives from the Yarra crime investigation unit said they seized heroin, cannabis, a manual press and around $100,000 cash from a house in Highett St.
Police said the substances were found with the help of sniffer dogs.
Two men found inside the property were arrested.
A 42-year-old Richmond man was charged with drug trafficking and possessing proceeds of crime and was remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Friday.
A 42-year-old Port Melbourne man also charged with drug trafficking was released on bail.
