Apparently, 'Auccess will of your own design', according to the university's design course advertising.

A banner displayed to promote the University of South Australia's design program included the stuff of a copywriter's nightmares, an ironic typo.

The banner reads "Auccess will be of your own design" - intended to read "success".

The picture was posted to an Adelaide comedy Instagram account on January 17 with the caption reading "Great Auccess!".

The banner appears to be displayed along The Bradley Building on the university's City West campus.

The image, posted to Just Adelaide Things account, garnered a response from the University of South Australia (UniSA) account.

"Ahit happens," the comment said.

IN OTHER NEWS:

UniSA's light-hearted response won over social media, with one user saying they're now keen enrol there, instead of Adelaide University.

Another Instagram poster joked the banner was part of a campaign to rename the university to UniAa.
