Opening tomorrow, (Thurs, August 4) the Melbourne International Film Festival returns after a disrupted couple of years with a bumper 70th edition program featuring 81 world premieres, 61 films direct from Cannes and a 'Melbourne on Film' retrospective that includes Dogs in Space, Death in Brunswick, Bonjour Balwyn, The Home Song Stories, Monkey Grip, Malcolm and The Rise and Fall of Squizzy Taylor, among many others.
