Convicted paedophile Rolf Harris has died aged 93.
The disgraced former entertainer had been battling neck cancer after being released from prison in 2017.
It's been revealed Mr Harris died on May 10 but the news became public after his death was registered with authorities on May 23.
A family statement confirmed Mr Harris "recently died peacefully surrounded by family and friends and has now been laid to rest".
"They ask that you respect their privacy. No further comment will be made."
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese was asked about Mr Harris' death during an interview with ABC News Breakfast on May 24.
He said his thoughts were with all victims, not just those of Mr Harris.
"It will be a day in which traumatic experiences could be revisited and my thoughts are with them," he said.
"I hope that if they need support, reach out and get it today."
Mr Harris was born on March 30, 1930 in Perth, Australia.
He became a well-known entertainer after moving to London in 1952, hosting TV shows such as BBC's Animal Hospital and releasing songs including Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport in 1957.
But Mr Harris' past caught up with him in 2014 when he was convicted by a London court of 12 indecent assaults on four girls between 1968 and 1986, including a close friend of his daughter Bindi.
One of the convictions was later overturned by the Court of Appeal.
He was released from prison in 2017 after serving nearly three years.

Mr Harris had been widely regarded with honours including the Officer of the Order of Australia (AO), a CBE awarded by the Queen in 2006, and induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2008.
In 2005 he painted a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II for the late monarch's 80th birthday.
These honours were all stripped from him following the 2014 conviction.
