The battle of the best Arnott's bickie has raged in supermarket aisles, over dinner tables and in office kitchenettes for generations.

Will it be a buttery Shortbread Cream, a decadent Tim Tam or palate cleansing Mint Slice?

Arnott's collected data from ten million packets of biscuits sold in Australia between October 2022 and October 2023 to create a definitive list.

The top selling biscuit is beloved by Australians and international celebrities including Julia Roberts, Selena Gomez and Kendall Jenner. And who could blame them?

Tim Tam Original

More than 2.8 million packets of original Tim Tams were sold in Australia over the year, Arnott's said.

Barbecue Shapes

Settling another major debate - which Shapes flavour is best? - Barbecue Shapes were the favourite savoury biscuit and the second most popular Arnott's product overall.

The biscuit company said 2.4 million Barbecue Shapes were sold over the 12 months.

Chicken Crimpy Shapes

A controversial third place to Chicken Crimpy Shapes in the best sellers list and silver medal among Shapes flavours.

The eternal cheese and cracker biscuit was Arnott's fourth best selling biscuit in 2023.

Pizza Shapes

Pizza Shapes, flecked with tomato and cheese flavouring, were Australia's fifth favourite biscuit and the third Shapes flavour it appear in the top five.

Salada

The plain cracker is a versatile favourite. It serves every culinary need from adding crunch in a salad to being the perfect vessel for a butter and vegemite cracker sandwich.

Mint Slice

An after dinner mint in biscuit form. The Mint Slice is Australia's seventh best selling Arnott's biscuit and the second ranked chocolate treat overall.

Tim Tam Double Coat

Only contributing to the Tim Tams craze their Double Coat edition is the country's eigth most-consumed biscuit.

Monte Carlo

Just place a little pressure splitting apart the two halves of honey coconut biscuit to find vanilla cream and sticky jam. Monte Carlos were Australia's ninth best selling Arnott's biscuit.
