Urgent recall: Popular duck bath toys recalled over choking fears

An urgent product recall has been issued for duck bath toys sold at more than 300 pharmacies nationwide.

The alert issued by Product Safety Australia warns the toy's squeaker may detach and create a risk of choking, suffocation or death if swallowed.

The toys were sold as a set of four with one large duck and three small ducks.

Product Safety Australia said consumers should stop using the toy immediately and keep them out of reach of children.

Lenan Corporation's four ducks kids bath toy set were sold between May 4, 2021 and December 18, 2023 at hundreds of stores across Australia and online.

The toys can be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund.

For more information or to arrange a refund if you are unable to return the product to the place of purchase, contact Lenan Corporation at orders@lenan.com.au or by phone on 07 3722 7400.

Around 650 different products are recalled in Australia every year.
