Iconic Australian band The Wiggles have given their adult fans a rave-worthy album of the classic hits from their childhood.

The country's biggest children's band has released a techno remix album on April 19, The Wiggles Sound System: Rave of Innocence.

WATCH: The Wiggles new album is available on streaming services on Friday, April 19.

Classics such as Hot Potato and Fruit Salad have been remixed by DJ Dorothy the Dinosaur and Lenny Pearce, former Justice Crew member and the twin brother of Purple Wiggle John Pearce.

It follows the group's jump back into the mainstream among adults, from winning Triple J's Hottest 100 with their cover of Tame Impala's Elephant, to performing at the final edition of Falls Festival in 2022 before the annual New Year's Eve event was cancelled.

"It's so incredible seeing people in their 20s and 30s who grew up enjoying our music in a whole new fun way... and this remix album is sort of an extension of that," Blue Wiggle Anthony Field said.

"It's a wild ride - DJ Dorothy is on fire!"

The album is set to feature in late night sets by DJ Dorothy and The Wiggles Sound System at nightclubs around Australia in 2024.

Mr Pearce has become a social media sensation for his popular remixes of children's songs including a techno version of The Wheels on the Bus, notching up more than one million TikTok followers.

"Creating this album has been such a fun project, being able to remix the sounds of my childhood into the sounds of my adulthood," he said.

The Wiggles Sound System: Rave of Innocence is available to stream or download.
