American pop triple-threat Olivia Rodrigo has announced that her sophomore album GUTS will tour Australia and fans are clamouring for tickets.

The singer-songwriter will be in Australia for a total of four shows in 2024 with performances at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on October 9 and 10 and at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney on October 17 and 18.

The GUTS tour takes Rodrigo through Bangkok, Seoul, Hong Kong and Singapore before landing Down Under. A show in Manila was also teased on the tour poster.

New Zealand singer-songwriter Benee, known for pop hits including Supalonely, Afterthought and Glitter, has been booked as Rodrigo's opening act.

Ticket sales open to the general public on May 16 at 1pm AEST but tour promoter Live Nation is planning a presale from 1pm AEST on May 15.

A VIP package is also available offering a standing ticket with priority access to meet Rodrigo, early merchandise access, early entry to the venue and a "specially designed VIP gift".

Some Australian fans have started planning their GUTS show outfits on social media after the runaway success of Taylor Swift's Eras tour and the cultural moment that saw fans creating elaborate costumes.

Tickets are available through Live Nation or Rodrigo's website.
