A teenager has been charged following the second stabbing in a week at a Melbourne shopping centre.
Six males were fighting near a cinema inside Highpoint Shopping Centre before spilling out to a restaurant area about 6.10pm on April 25, police said.
Two of the teenagers were allegedly armed with machetes.
An 18-year-old was taken to hospital with a suspected stab wound to the arm while three males were arrested at the scene.
A 17-year-old from Braybrook has been charged with intentionally causing injury, affray, assault with a weapon and possessing a control weapon, and has been bailed to appear at a children's court.
Police believe the parties were known to each other.
It comes after police were called to the same shopping centre on April 21 after two men, both aged 19, were allegedly involved in a physical altercation in a restaurant at 2.30pm.
One of the men was taken to hospital in a serious condition with suspected stab wounds.
Police charged a Kings Park man with intentionally causing injury, affray and weapons offences.
Investigators are appealing to the public for any information to identify the two other males involved in the incident on April 25.
